The Community Foundation awards grants to nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations and government agencies serving Danville, VA and the counties of Pittsylvania and Halifax, VA; and Caswell County, NC.
Through a careful review process, The Foundation’s staff and board of directors work together to award grants that improve the lives of people and communities in the Dan River Region. Our goal is to match the wishes of the donors with the needs of the community.
We encourage applicants to begin the process early to allow enough time to ensure an application is complete. We are unable to accept late or incomplete applications due to our need to adhere to our strict timeline of processing grants.
